Hi, I’m Alyssa Perez
I am a graphic artist based in Orange County.

As a graphic artist in the professional world, there is a constant learning curve with forever changing trends. Let’s face it, we all want to be up to date and fit in, but ironically we also want to be distinctively individual. Whether I’m working with an already established business, the independent Ma & Pa shop or the friend who needs a logo, everyone wants the same thing. Their dreams of success to be put on paper through design. It could portray elegance, power, playfulness or just be “to the point”. That’s where I come in. I place your passion into an aesthetic that fits the brand.

Currently, I am focusing my time to freelance with incredible brands like FOCL and a few up-and-coming brands in the wellness space. I feel fortunate enough to exert my creative energy into a space where each company I team up with really wants to make a positive difference in the world. At this point in my career, I really look for a positive mental space, optimistic evolution and organized chaos. Organized chaos is PASSION. Passion is really what makes every single brand unique and that’s what I want to be a part of.

Previously I was the Senior Graphic Designer at Koi CBD and an Art Director for Medterra. Working for about 3 and a half years for start-ups in Wellness CPG in such a fast growing industry is like running full speed while the rest of the world is in slow motion. We all wear multiple hats, FDA regulations are constantly changing state by state, country by country and expectations run high knowing we are shaping this industry with progressive design. Every year almost feels like “dog years”! It is constantly teaching me how to positively work under pressure, be the best leader I can be, and create groundbreaking marketing trends. I couldn’t be more grateful to start my career in this industry with such incredible people.

Before my professional life, while in college, I worked the film photography lab mixing chemistry and taking care of the film equipment. I also had opportunity with a couple of internships. Khreative ink, an independent design agency based in Mission Viejo and Firebrand Media, a content marketing agency based in Laguna beach. I feel so fortunate that I decided to work while in college because it allowed me to be exposed to the professional world so early in my career. These are the things college doesn’t teach you.

On my off time, I enjoy creating music, traveling and hanging with my pup, Keno.
